Voting is an element of AnswerHub’s Gamification feature. Voting promotes a healthy, active AnswerHub community by letting users up-vote relevant or useful content, and down-vote content that is irrelevant or out of place.

Voting also adds reputation points to users for their content. Reputation points can then be used to
sometimes gain additional permissions and roles such as moderation. Reputation can also earn a user badges for things like posting great content.

There are two different voting variations in AnswerHub: up- and down-voting, and likes. The up- and down-voting feature allows a user to perform either action, but the like voting feature only allows a user to up-vote content.
