In order to effectively perform an on-premise installation, we require the following:
In order to effectively perform an on-premise installation, we require the following:
- Linux
- Kernel 2.6 or greater
- Quad core processor
- 8GB of RAM
- Or higher if you plan to run the database on the same machine
- Java 7 (or greater)
- Tomcat 7 (or greater)
- MySQL 5.5
- mysql-connector-java-5.1.12-bin.jar installed (or greater) into the Tomcat libs
- Your AnswerHub release downloaded from your customer directory
- DNS configured for the hostname you are installing AnswerHub on
- DNS configured for the system admin domain (admin.hostname usually) for AnswerHub
- Verify that the user running the tomcat server has read and write permissions to the teamhub.home folder.
- Set the Tomcat Java memory settings to the following: -Xmx1300M -Xms784M -XX:MaxPermSize=512m
