To update a user’s expertise topics, follow these steps:

Locate and click on the user’s username from anywhere on your AnswerHub site.

Result: The Profile User Interface (UI) is displayed.
Click the Edit () button.

Result: The [user] – Preferences UI is displayed with the Details tab pre-selected.
Select the Expertise tab.

Result: The Expertise tab is displayed.
To add an expertise topic to the user, do the following:
1. Begin typing the required expertise topic into the Manually added topics field.
  
  Result: Topics will begin to pre-populate in the drop-down menu.
  
  Note: You will only be able to add topics that already exist on your AnswerHub site.
2. Select the required topic from the drop-down menu.
  
  Result: The expertise topic will appear in a grey box () in the Manually added topics field.
To remove an expertise topic from the user, click the x beside the topic name.

Result: The topic will no longer display in the Manually added topics field.
