Import Data with a Comma Separated Values File

The easiest ways to populate your AnswerHub site is to create a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file using an Excel spreadsheet to generate your data.

To import data with a CSV file, follow these steps:

From the Site tab of the Administrator Dashboard, select Import Data from the Navigation sidebar.

Result: The Import Data pane is displayed with the Comma Separated File (CSV) tab pre-selected.
Click the Choose File () button.

Result: Your computer’s file manager is displayed.
Locate and select the CSV file to import.

Result: A preview of the file’s name is displayed in the blue File box.
Click the Start Import () button.

Result: A green bar that reads Data successfully imported: x questions, x answers, x comments, x users. is displayed at the top of the Import Data pane.
