Rebuild AnswerHub Index
Sometimes when you make changes to your AnswerHub site, such
as importing information, you will need to rebuild your index. Also, if you are
having issues with your search functionality, rebuilding your index may resolve
the issue.
To rebuild AnswerHub index, follow these steps:
To rebuild AnswerHub index, follow these steps:
- From the Site
tab of the Administrator Dashboard,
select
Manage Search from the Navigation sidebar.
Result: The Search Settings pane is displayed with the Statistics tab pre-selected.
- Select the Operations
tab.
Result: The Operations tab is displayed with the All checkbox pre-selected.
- Select from the following object index options:
- All
- Ideas
- KBEntries
- Nodes
- Questions
- Topics
- Users
- Click the Rebuild
index
button.
Result: Reindexing in progress… is displayed and the status of the search index is displayed.
- Once all of the blue bars reach 100%, click the Back to search page (
) button to return the Search Settings and Status pane.
Result: Now the AnswerHub system is ready to index your AnswerHub site.
