Test and Confirm Outgoing Mail Settings

You can use the Test Email Settings pane to send a test email from your AnswerHub site to your own email address to verify that your dashboard’s outgoing email system is functional.

To test and confirm outgoing mail settings, follow these steps:

From the Site tab of the Administrator Dashboard, select Test & Confirm under the Outgoing Mail Settings link, from the Summary menu of the Navigation sidebar.

Result: TheTest Email Settings pane is displayed.
Click the Email template drop-down menu and select which test email type AnswerHub will send.
Click the Test Settings () button.

Result: A green bar that reads Your test mails were sent successfully. is displayed at the top of the Test Email Settings pane, and the Mail Log Output will have the output information displayed in the box.
Check the email account that you registered on AnswerHub to verify that your test email was sent successfully.

Note: If you are unsure of your registered email address, select Back to site from the top-right of the Administrator Dashboard, click the Avatar () drop-down menu, and select Profile. Your registered email address is displayed beside your profile picture.
