To edit an authentication mode, follow these steps:

) button after each individual edit is made, the updated information will not save.- From the Users & Groups tab of the Administrator Dashboard , select Authentication Modesfrom the User Settings menu of the Users sidebar.
Result: The Authentication Modes pane is displayed.
- From the Library column of the Authentication Modes table, select the third party authentication mode to edit.
Result: The right-side column of the Authentication Modes table is updated with the information for the selected authentication site.
Note: An enabled authentication mode’s details will be highlighted in green, and a disabled mode’s details will be highlighted in red. - To edit the customer endpoint information, do the following:
- Click the Customer Endpoint details.
Result: The Customer Endpoint field and Save () button is displayed. - Enter the customer endpoint into the Customer Endpoint field.
- Click the Save ()button.
Result: The Customer Endpoint details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Customer Endpoint details.
- To edit the header text, do the following:
- Click the Header Text details.
Result: The Header Text field and Save () button is displayed. - Enter the header text into the Header Text field.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Header Text details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Header Text details.
- To edit the authentication mode’s mode, do the following:
- Click the Mode details.
Result: The Mode drop-down menu and Save () button is displayed. - Click the Mode drop-down menu and select from the following:
- direct-
- endpointForm-
- usernameAndPasswordForm-
- social-
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Mode details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Mode details.
- To set the position that the authentication mode is displayed on the login screen, do the following:
- Click the Position details.
Result: The Position drop-down menu and Save () button is displayed. - Click the Position drop-down menu and select one of the following:
- leftTop
- leftMiddle
- leftBottom
- rightTop
- rightMiddle
- rightBottom
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Position details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Position details.
- To change whether or not the mode is featured in the AnswerHub UI, do the following:
- Click the Featured details.
Result: The Featured drop-down menu and Save () button is displayed. - Click the Featured drop-down menu and select either True or False.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Featured details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Featured details.
- To insert a line break after the mode, do the following:
- Click the Break line after this item details link.
Result: The Break line after this item drop-down menu and Save () button is displayed. - Click the Break line after this item drop-down menu and select either True or False.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Break line after this item details are briefly highlighted in yellow
- Click the Break line after this item details link.
- To add a weight to this mode, do the following:
- Click the Weight details link.
Result: The Weight drop-down menu and Save ()button is displayed. - Click the Weight drop-down menu and select a weight between -10 and 10.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Weight details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Weight details link.
- To edit the large image URL for the mode, do the following:
- Click the Large image URL details link.
Result: The Large image URL field and Save () button is displayed. - Enter the URL into the Large image URL field.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Large image URL details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Large image URL details link.
- To edit the small image URL for the mode, do the following.
- Click the Small image URL details link.
Result: The Small image URL field and Save () button is displayed. - Enter the URL into the Small image URL field.
- Click the Save () button.
Result: The Small image URL details are briefly highlighted in yellow.
- Click the Small image URL details link.
