For each content type, such as questions or answers, you can set limitations for attachment sizes.

- From the Content tab of the Administrator Dashboard, select Attachment Settings from the Node Structure panel of the Content Navigation sidebar.
Result: The Attachment Settings pane is displayed with the Allowed Types tab pre-selected.
- Select the content type you would like to edit attachment settings for from the [content type] tabs.
Note: Content types that have been added by plugins will also display in this list of content types. (For example, ideas are added with the Ideation plugin.)
Result: The [content type] attachments tab is displayed. - Enable attachments for the selected content type by selecting the Enable checkbox.
- Disable attachments for the selected content type by deselecting the Enable checkbox.
- Enter the required information in the following fields:
- Max- Enter the maximum number of attachments allowed for the selected content type.
- Max Size Bytes - Enter the maximum size that a single attachment can be (in bytes) for the selected content type.
- Max Size Bytes Total - Enter the total maximum size that all of the combined attachments can be (in bytes) for the selected content type.
- Min- Enter the minimum number of attachments allowed for the selected content type.
- Min Size Bytes - Enter the minimum size that a single attachment can be (in bytes) for the selected content type.
- Min Size Bytes Total - Enter the total minimum size that all of the attachments combined can be (in bytes) for the selected content type.
- Click the Save (
) button.
Result: A green bar that reads Settings saved successfully is briefly displayed at the top of the Attachment Settings pane.
