To refine your search, follow these steps:
- Log in to your AnswerHub site.
Result: The AnswerHub User Interface (UI) is displayed.
- From the Navigation bar, click on the Search bar and enter the search criteria into the Search bar based on the following options:
- Question
- Topic
- Space
- Username
- Idea
- Article
Note: Ideas and articles are plugins (add-ons) for your AnswerHub site. These will only display on sites that have them activated. - Press the Enter or Return button on your keyboard, or click the Search (
) icon from the Search field.
Result: The search results are displayed with the Refine Your Search menu to the right of the search results.
- Click the Posted drop-down menu, and choose from the following:
- Any time
- Past hour
- Past 24 hours
- Past week
- Past month
- Past year
- Custom
- If Custom has been selected from the Posted drop-down menu, edit the Custom fields by doing the following:
- Click the Start date field and select a date from the drop-down calendar.
- Click the End date field and select a date from the drop-down calendar.
- Enter a username in the Authored by field.
- Click the Space drop-down menu, and select a space.
- Enter one or more topics in the With topics field.
Result: The topic will display in the With topics field in a grey box with an x to the left of the topic name. - Optional: To add a new topic, enter the topic into the With topics field and press the Enter or Return button on your keyboard.
Optional Result: The new topic is added to the Topics field in a grey box, and to your AnswerHub site. - From Of Types, choose from the following:
- Question
- Idea
- Article
Result: The respective button is raised.
Note: Ideas and articles are plugins (add-ons) for your AnswerHub site. These will only display on sites that have them activated. - Click the Submit (
) button.
Result: The refined search results are displayed in the AnswerHub User Interface (UI).
