You can control the various configuration options for content types by editing your AnswerHub site’s settings for navigation. This task mainly focuses on visibility options—including sort, lists size, and number of options to show for a node.

- From the Site option of the Administrator Dashboard, select Navigation Settings from the General menu of the Navigation sidebar.
Result: The Edit Settings for Navigation pane is displayed.
- Enter the required information in the following fields:
- Default Activity List Size : The number of nodes displayed on a page.
- Default Activity List Sort :The order nodes are sorted on a page.
- Answer Page Size : The number of answers displayed on a page.
- Default Answer List Sort : The order answers are sorted on a page.
- Default Award List Size : The number of awards displayed on a page.
- Default Award List Sort : The order awards are sorted on a page.
- Comments to Show : The number of comments are displayed on a page.
- Hottest Sort Days :
- Default Index Sort :
- Limited Comments Sort :
- Default Private Message List Size : The number of private messages displayed on a page.
- Default Private Message Sort : The order private messages are sorted on a page.
- Default Question List Size : The number of questions displayed on a page.
- Default Question List Sort : The order questions are sorted on a page.
- Recent Activity Page Size : The number of nodes displayed under Recent Activity.
- To only allow a user to submit one answer per question, select the Single Answer To Question Page checkbox.
- Enter the required information in the following fields:
- Default Topic List Size : The number of topics displayed on the Topics List page.
- Default Topic Sort : The order topics are sorted on the Topics List page.
- Default User Award List Size : The number of user awards displayed on a page.
- Default User Award Sort : The order awards are sorted on a page.
- Default User List Size : The number of users displayed on a page.
- Default User Sort : The order users are sorted on a page.
- Click the Save Settings (
) button.
Result: A green bar that reads Settings were successfully changed for Navigation is displayed at the top of the Edit Settings for Navigation pane.
